Casino Bonus

Free Spins

Free spins are often offered the players in online casinos, either as a part of the welcome bonus or just as an incentive to encourage playing. For example, a casino could grant its new sign ups 20 free spins at their new video slot for this month. By doing this, they attract more players and also increase the popularity of the new slot.
Some casinos even have regular free spin promotions, either for their loyal players, or as prizes won from lotteries and draws.

No Deposit Bonus

More and more free online casinos offer no deposit bonuses in order to draw clientele to their casinos. These offers consist of free cash without any deposit requirements – the offer could for instance state “$10 free for new sign ups with bonus code FREECASH”. This gives players an incentive and opportunity to test the casino without investing any money, however, casinos usually impose wagering conditions on these types of bonuses, ensuring that players don’t just sign up, claim the bonus and then cash it out. Note, that there are often also other conditions such as a necessary bonus code or specific country of residence in order to be eligible for these kind of bonuses and be sure to check out the bonus terms and conditions beforehand.
Lately some casinos also started to offer huge no deposit bonuses valid for a short period of time to play with (one hour usually), which are then voided. In some cases players are allowed to cash out part of the winnings (if any), but not all of them.

Sticky bonus

A sticky bonus offer looks like a normal bonus offer, but contrary to the traditional one, it cannot be withdrawn under any circumstances. The sticky bonus therefore, serves the purposes of providing financial leverage to the player, as well as a faster method to achieve wagering requirements for other bonuses.
Lets take an example in which a new sign-up deposits $50 at an online casino offering 100% up to $300 sticky bonus. After the deposit he will have his $50 and $50 sticky bonus, $100 in total. Assuming the average 50:50 win/loss ratio, if he bets all the $100, he will win another $100 half of the time and lose all the $100 half of the time. In the first case he will actually have won $100 on his initial $50 deposit, because the other $50 are the sticky bonus, which cannot be cashed out. In the losing example the player loses only his own $50.
So, in this simplified example, for two plays this sums up to a $100-$50 = $50 total profit.
Therefore, the sticky bonus can be worth almost as much as a normal bonus, to an experienced player with a good bankroll, who knows how to use it.

High Roller Bonus

This particular type of casino bonus is designed for the so-called “big fishes”. These players often deposit very high amounts, play a lot and are therefore not satisfied with the regular bonus offers. The casinos know that most of their revenue comes from exactly this type of players and aim to reward them accordingly, with high roller bonus offers. An example for such a bonus could be 50% up to $1,000 or 100% up to $1,500, but there is almost always a minimum deposit the player should make in order to qualify for it. Most casinos choose a range of about $500 for this purpose.
In some rare instances there could also be continuous high roller bonus offer, spread out over several months, this way one can combine the high roller bonus with the monthly bonus concepts into one big promotion.
The high roller bonuses are subject to wagering requirements in regard to withdrawals (according to the bonus terms and conditions), just like the monthly and the normal bonuses.

Monthly Bonus

Many of the most famous free online casinos offer regular monthly bonuses to their customers. The offer is clearly stated, rarely changed and is most often something along the lines of “Monthly bonus of 50% up to $50”. It is typically awarded on player’s first deposit of the month and functions like the normal casino bonus. The major difference between these two types of bonuses is that the normal bonus is offered only once, during the initial sign-up process, while the monthly bonuses are available on a regular basis, either for a set period of time or indefinitely, and is triggered with every first deposit of the month. Monthly bonuses just as the normal bonuses are subject to predetermined wagering requirements before players can cash them out. Other monthly casino bonuses could include free spins, draw and lottery tickets or comp points boosts or bonuses.

Normal Bonus

A normal casino bonus is typically offered to players when they sign up at a casino. It is also called first deposit, sign-up or welcome bonus. Most of these bonuses consist of a fixed percentage up to a specific maximum amount of bonus cash based on the player’s first deposit or on the first few deposits; while another normal casino bonus sub-type could be a fixed bonus amount for the player’s first deposit. One of these normal bonus offers could be for example 100% up to $200 bonus with the first deposit. This means, that if you deposit $100, another $100 will be credited to your casino account to play and generate wins with. Because of the $200 cap in this example, even if you were to deposit $1,000, you will always receive the maximum of $200. In such cases it is often more profitable to take advantage of the high roller bonus (if applicable).
These normal bonuses can in most cases be withdrawn only after fulfilling the bonus terms and conditions, which usually means meeting predetermined wagering requirements.
